Fallout 1997 Power Armor

The Evolution of Power Armor in Fallout

From the T-45 to the T-60

The T-60 series of powered combat infantry armor is the latest in a long line of power armor designs developed by the United States government. The T-60 is an evolution of the T-45 power armor, which was first developed in the late 2070s. The T-45 was a revolutionary design for its time, and it quickly became the standard issue power armor for the U.S. military.

The T-51 Power Armor

In the years leading up to the Great War, the U.S. government continued to develop and improve its power armor technology. In 2077, the government unveiled the T-51 power armor, which was considered the pinnacle of mechanized protection. The T-51 was designed using the latest in passive defense technology, and it provided a valuable balance of protection and mobility.

The T-51 power armor was used extensively by the U.S. military during the Great War. However, the war quickly turned into a nuclear holocaust, and the T-51 power armor was no match for the atomic bombs. The T-51 power armor was eventually phased out of service, and it was replaced by the T-60 power armor.

The T-60 Power Armor

The T-60 power armor is an evolution of the T-51 power armor. The T-60 is designed to be more durable and more versatile than the T-51. The T-60 is also equipped with a number of new features, including a jetpack and a targeting computer.

The T-60 power armor is currently the standard issue power armor for the Brotherhood of Steel. The Brotherhood of Steel is a faction of former U.S. military personnel who have dedicated themselves to preserving technology and protecting the innocent. The Brotherhood of Steel uses the T-60 power armor to fight against the mutants, raiders, and other threats that inhabit the Wasteland.
